The other merchants that there is another market called the Western Market and that it is quite buisy. The markets open at noon and close at sunset. I am going to the Western Market at exactly noon. We are now traveling on the road and I see what is called the Western Market. It is super loud and nothing at all like the Eastern Market. We got sugared cakes, medicines, crabs, vegetables, dried fish, and many other things. We are going to spend one more night here then set off to Samarkand.

I am headed off to the meeting for merchants all over the great Asian Empire. There are many silk and iron companies around in Samarkand. We traded with a few of the things we got from the Western and Eastern Market. There are plenty of places to trade in Samarkand. Here in Samarkand wine and tea are produced and grain is processed. We should be headed off to Kashgar we have lots of things we can barter and trade with.

We are in the desert climate of Kashgar. It is extremely hot there are tons of mountains to look at from the spot that we are in. We start to go down the Yarkant River when some merchants told me that there was a market down by the Mt. Komgur. I can not bear my excitement there will be plenty of silks and my store will get famous. When we make it there I see a market with the most exquisete things ever. I traded and bartered. In the end we ended up with wheat, maze, cotton, barley, sesame, peanuts, and flax.
